Our next concerts are on the 9th and 10th July, with music by Delius, Haydn, Coates, Vaughan Williams and Elgar, and featuring rising local star Lukas Hank playing the Introduction and Rondo Cappricioso by Saint-Saens. See the concerts page for more details. The Winscombe Orchestra

Winscombe Orchestra is a medium sized and friendly amateur orchestra located in the village of Winscombe, but with members coming from a wide area including Bristol and Bridgwater, Wells and Weston-super-Mare.

Under the baton of our recently appointed conductor, Mark Gateshill, and leader Christine Gladwin, we perform six concerts each year from the classical repertoire and some lighter orchestral music. Our concerts often feature well-known local soloists and also young talented musicians early in their careers as well as music composed especially for us.

We rehearse from 7:45pm to 10pm on Fridays in term-time at The Lynch Chapel Hall in Winscombe.
